The Why

Pram toys are less about development and more about keeping your baby calm while you’re out, especially in the early months when pram time can be unpredictable.

Some days, nothing works — and that’s normal.

In the early months, most babies start with chewing — and then need more engagement as they grow. Our principle is to choose toys made from simple, transparent materials that still work in practice.

The GoodCall

We’d switch between all three — Oli & Carol, Mombella and Lamaze — and keep them in rotation.

In reality, no single toy works consistently. Some days she’d take to one straight away, other days she’d completely ignore it — which is very normal. Often, she was just as happy chewing on the pram straps and handlebars.

Babies will mouth whatever they can reach, especially in the early months. That's why materials matter and why we try to steer towards cleaner options where possible.

For toys that don’t come with an attachment, we used a simple clip to keep them within reach and off the ground. We opted for wood or food-grade silicone since these get chewed on too — something like a Mushie clip works well.
